Clean Heart

Heavenly Father,

I thank you for the privilege to come and bring our praises and requests before you.  Thank you for your Mercy and continued loving kindness.  Thank you for your patience as I fall and you patiently wait till I stand up again.  Thank you for not going anywhere when I do fall.

I pray that you would create in us a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit in us, as you promise us in Your Word.  I ask that you use our steadfast spirits for your Glory.  Help us to keep our eyes up above, not on our circumstances or those around us.

I pray that You would unite and strengthen the bonds of the ladies at WFBC.  Help us to radiate Your love to each other and those around us.  Give us the discipline to be faithful in prayer for each other and our church.

I praise You for a beautiful day today and Your creativity and graciousness in creating such a beautiful world for us.

In Your name I pray,
Jill

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank You for allowing us to know You and about Your grace.  Father, You are grecious, compassionate, all wise, all powerful, and Your works never cease to amaze us.  You give us a new day everyday, and fill each day with so many blessings that we cannot even begin to keep track.  Father, thank You for Waco Family and all of the individual people make up the congregation.  We acknowledge that we sin, we wonder from You, and we are unworthy of Your grace. We need Your forgiveness and we ask for Your continued grace. Please, convict us of the sin in our lives and show us the path right back to You.  Help us to see any and all areas of our lives that keep us from drawing near to You.  Thank you for Your Son, and the redemptive work He has done for us and for all who You have chosen. Of all the blessings You have provided, the one we absolutely should NEVER forget is the forgiveness of our sins through Your son, our Messiah, our Salvation.  May our thoughts, words, and actions reflect the grace you have given us, and may our words be Yours to draws others to You. May we walk in a manner worthy of You, and fully pleasing to You.  Help us to bear fruit in every good deed and increase always in knowlegde of You.
Father, I also pray that You will touch the people at Waco Family Baptist Church, that You will heal those who are sick.   We pray that You will also remind us that even when we do not feel well, that You are in control and You are always at work in our lives.  Father, please be with the leaders in the church, please continually fill them with Your truth and Your knowledge. Please fill their lives with Your words and instruct them daily to stay in Your word.  Please show them any sin in their lives that they are unaware of so they can seek You and grow in knowlege of Your will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding.  We thank You for the opportunity to seek you everday, and for qualifying us to share in the great inheritance.  Thank you for allowing us to find rest in You, and thank You for all of the fruits of the Spirit that come with it.  We thank You for all things, and we ask You all of these things in Your Son's name, Amen.

Previous prayer sent by Tess:

Thank you, Lord, for carrying me through this week. Thank you for keeping me though I wander. Lord, help me to manage my day and life the way you would have me to. You know that I fail here. Teach me what (i think it was Luther who said) it means to pray for hours IN ORDER TO be able to complete all that is needed in a busy day. I know what it means to rise and work out. I know what it means to rise and juice. I know what it means to rise and get a jump start at work. I do not know what it means to rise and meet You, and this is sin. Father, put to death the sin in me that seeks after these idols that are in my heart. I love you, and I want you to always be first in my heart. You are the First.
In Your grace I ask these things.
Tess
Father God
My creator and my King
I worship you. Teach me Lord to number my days. To make the most of the time I have. So that when I look back there are no regrets.
Show me ways to help my sisters and brothers in Christ. Show me how to present your truth. Let me not fall back into old habits, and be conformed again to the world, but help me continue to set myself apart for you. Show me how to do so without arrogance but with love. Thank you for Jeffrey's freedom, knowing that he is still in chains because of his disease, I ask that you teach him how to live with it, or restore him. I thank you for the many blessing you have bestowed on your servant. Watch over my church family. Thank you for the new Gunn baby. You have blessed them richly.
I love you Lord!
